My favourite piece of technology

This is a hard decision to make, but I think that this time I’ll talk about my Nook. My Nook is a cheaper version of the super famous Kindle. ¿What the hell is a Kindle? That were my first thought almost one year ago. My boyfriend talked to me about this amazing thing because I used to read from the computer and my eyes used to suffer a lot. Well, my Nook is an American brand of e-readers. The incredible thing about this e-readers is that they don’t radiate light as the usual tablets or computers (I don’t know how they make it). Anyway, is super cool to have this light thing full of books that won’t hurt your vision. I use it really often because books are way too expensive and pdf are totally free on internet. Reasons why I like: it’s cheaper than buying books, it’s lighter than carrying the real books (especially when you’re camping or back packing) and it’s healthier than reading from the computer.
I always talk about this little thing 'cuz I really love it, so between a tablet and my Nook, I prefer it one hundred times mooore :)

Expectations for a New Semester

A new semester wooooow! I'm kidding, I'm actually really tired, but that's part of the process. I have seven subjects this term, some of them are incredible, by now I’m really into Basic Psychological Processes, I like the teacher, the things we talk about and the activities we make. Another subject that I like a lot is Epistemology, our teacher is amazing and I think she teaches us another way to see the world. Despite I like my subjects, I’m almost all day at the Uni, so I almost don’t have free time to paint, or read, or go to the supermarket haha. I didn’t take extracurriculars but English, I would have liked to take Yoga or French but I hope I could take them on the new semester. Recently I start another “job” as academic delegate, so from now I have to talk to teachers and help my classmates. This new academic job and my subjects will make my second semester a really busy one, but I hope everything work out fine and I could become a critical person.

My Auto Biography

Hi!. My name is Catalina (you can all tell me cata). I was born in Talcahuano in a sunny day of 1997 (January 4th) . I grew there, in the rainny eight region at the far southern country on the earth. In my childhood I used to live with my mom, my grandma and my aunt.  I studied at Manuel Rodriguez Primary School. I was there since I was four years old and there I met my best friend Renata. Everything seemed really plane until my dad decided to move to San Pedro de Atacama. I was twelve years old, in my last year of primary school. It was horrible, but then I started to loving my new home and my new life with my parents. I studied in the driest desert of the world at Likan Antai High School. This chapter of my life is probably the best, I met so many people, such a rich culture and I learned so much about diversity, so now I tell I have the best of both sides (south a north). At the beginning of this year everything changed again when I moved to Santiago, I started my studies at Psychology and I began to live alone. I am suuuper nerd and my hobbies are painting with watercolours, reading, cooking, listening rock music, going to museums and running. I am a huge fan of Sailor Moon and I am really into art’s blogs. That’s all, I guess.  Keep tuned to this blog J
